RHS Library has new books on the shelves!
BioSTEM 2 and MEPS visited Protomet, Sauter Timber, and Roane County Solid Waste.
Aaron attended CTSO on the Hill in Nashville with HOSA. He met with Senator Yager, Rep Fritts, and TnDOE Chief Academic Officer Kristy L. Brown to discuss the impact of CTE and share his experience working in our school cafe, highlighting how work-based learning provides hands-on opportunities. He also advocated for CTE directors across TN to support individualized pathways that help students achieve their career goals.
RCS CTE Director Cindy Lockett stated "Aaron has been an incredible ambassador for Rockwood and Roane County this week in Nashville! A very proud few days!"

Congratulations to Kayleigh Smith and Aaliyha Morgan for being named to the all district team for girls basketball. Collin Abston and Jayden Davidson were named to the boys all district team. Adrian Darby was a honorable mention selection. RHS is proud of your accomplishments.
February is CTE Month!
Mr. Dugger teaches classes in the HVAC pathway and helps with various projects throughout the school.
The RHS FabLab is hunting for vases, mason jars, and other plastic/glass jars for an activity. We would love any CLEAN donations. Message dsoard@roaneschools.com for additional information. If it holds water, we're interested (the Pringles can has a water bottle inside).
RHS traveled to Oakdale tonight. Girls lost and boys pick up a big district win!
Basketball: at Oakdale tonight. Gametimes: Boys B-team: 5:00. Girls: 6:30. Boys Varsity: 8:00. Last road game of the regular season.
Spring is still weeks away, but our winter onions are waking up and our pansies are ready to be moved to the planters at the main entrance of the school.
School may be out for sickness but the trout babies are hatched and healthy!
